Steam turbines are the main equipment of thermal power plants and are also used in the metallurgical industry, chemical industry, and ship power plants. Centrifugal compressor is a type of turbo compressor, characterised by large gas capacity, small size, simple structure, stable operation, convenient maintenance, and low gas pollution. With advancements in gas dynamics research, the efficiency of centrifugal compressors has been continuously improved, and due to the successful development of high-pressure seals, small flow narrow impellers, multi-oil wedge bearings, and other key technologies, a series of issues have been resolved in the development of centrifugal compressors for high pressure and wide flow range, significantly expanding the application range of centrifugal compressors.
